Better is one day in your courts, than thousands elsewhere
September 2, 2009
HOLY COW. So the forever21 site said that my order would take 5-10 business days to ship. It got here today!! Today was only the 3rd business days!
So every thing is AMAZING! Well one thing I’m not 100% sure I like, but everything else fits perfectly and looks amazing. I mean the quality isn’t fantastic, but that’s fine. To see pictures click on this link to see the facebook album I made for it.
___
Other then getting my clothes in the mail today, I went to Fraser to organize his apartment before his roomate moves in. I am secretly organizing Fraser’s room too, he doesn’t know! I don’t think he read my blog so I thought I would tell all you guys so I don’t end up telling him. I think he will be pleasantly surprised when he gets back from Ontario to find his room amazingly organized, instead of the mess he left it in. (so don’t tell him!!!)
I am also cleaning it up because I am having a little get together with a few girls for drinks. Bridgette and I both invited a couple friends, I invited Alicia and Leah and Bridgette invited Laura and Nicole. I am super pumped. This will be happening on Thursday at Fraser’s apartment, the day before Clark moves in.
___
Well that’s about all I wanted to tell you about today.
Love you lots,
Sara xo

It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to
August 29, 2009
Today is the birthday of two of the most influential, talented, just overall amazing people, myself and Michael Jackson. First let’s take a moment to honor the late Michael Jackson.
.
.
.
.
.
Alrighty, so today is my birthday. I turn 19 which means I can legally drink! Which I’m sure is very exciting to most people, but I don’t think I am overly trilled. I mean of course I’m pumped, but not as pumped as most would be.
___
So because Fraser left to go to Ontario today at 9am for Nationals, we did a little celebrating for my birthday yesterday. Well, we cleaned his apartment and ordered in. But we did spend the whole day together, which was incredible. Then this morning we woke up super early and I drove him to the airport. It definitely sucks he won’t be around today, but I had such a good time yesterday that it doesn’t even matter.
___
Since Fraser’s mom and sister have been gone to Ontario for the past week and a half, he has been staying at their place taking care of their dog, so now that he’s gone and they don’t get back until Tuesday, I am taking care of them. Well, dropping by to take her out for walks and stuff. Also, this week I am going to finish cleaning Fraser’s apartment up before his room mate moves in on the 4th of September.
His room mates name is Clark, he’s a 5th year Material Engineering student at DAL, (same as Fraser only Fraser is 2nd year) he seems like a very nice guy.
___
So for my birthday Bridgette, her mom, my mom and I are going out to dinner then out to a bar or club or something. I am super pumped and I’m sure it’ll be a great time.
___
For my birthday present from my parents gave my $150 to spend on clothes and stuff. So I bought a pair of jeans from Garage for $30 and I spent the rest online at canada.forever21.com, I ordered everything last night, so it should be here in two weeks time. AND there was free shipping because my order was over $75. Here are pictures of what I ordered, I’m sure I will show you pictures of my with them on once they get here.

This is a 3-Button Knit Top, I decided on the Teal color. Fraser picked this shirt out, I think it’s very cute, it was $7.80 CAD.

This is a Crochet Sweater Top, color is Cocoa, this is the most expensive item I bought and I absolutely LOVE the look of this. It was $23.80 CAD.

Fraser also picked out this one, DJ Garfield T-Shirt, it’s adorable and only $17.80 CAD.

Fraser picked out this for me. Well he said that I would always wear it, lol. It was only $11.80 CAD.

This is a Knotted Bust Top, in the color Coral, it was only $11.80 CAD.

This is “Loving Kindness Cut-Off Tank”, it was $16.80 CAD, I was very unsure of this item, but I think it will look fantastic on.

Willa Plaid Tunic, this item was the one that I got risky on, I have no idea if I will like it or not, but it was only $8.99 CAD, so I decided to try it out and see. I think it will look great.

I also got a couple necklaces, this one is a Collette Beaded Necklace, it was $7.80 CAD. It also comes in a pink color, but I like the blue.

Last but not least I got this Filigree Heart Charms Necklace, which I absolutely love in the picture. it was only $6.80 CAD and I am super excited to get it.
___
On Thursday I went out with Alicia to get a dress for tonight when I go downtown, I will upload pictures of what that looks like, and what my entire outfit/makeup looks like later on.
___
Well I believe I should get up and head over to Fraser’s to walk the dog. I am very sorry for being so slack on those posts I promised. I swear I’ll get them up eventually. Maybe this week since my baby’s gone!
Love you lots,
Sara xo

I’M HOMEE!
and holy moley I have TONSSS of things to post here. But I should probably take my time and split it all up into a bunch of posts so I don’t have to spend a week on the computer and because I don’t want to run out of things to post once my life gets back to boring again.
So here is what I have been doing for the past month and a half:
As you know for all of July I was working at a camp for underprivileged children.
I went to the KISS concert
For the first week in August (well July 30-August 6) I was in Ontario doing some visiting and an insane amount of touristy things.
(while I was in Ontario Fraser and a couple friends drove my car to Montreal for a music festival)
And in between I died my hair purple.
Overall I have had a great month or so. I’ve hardley got to see Fraser at all, but hey, at least we fought less! There have been MANY stressful moments, but I definitely came out on top. Speaking of Fraser, I get to see him today, finally! There is a staff supper at camp that I’m going up for for a last chance to see the staff again. So I am very excited to get to go back up and spend time with everyone, and to see Fraser!
I think I will conclude this post with saying how much I missed everyone, and how much I will miss everyone I was with all month, but I am excited to get to relax, for a day or so anyway.
I will start working on all the updates I have to give and post them as soon as they’re ready.
Love you lots,
Sara xo

June 22, 2009
Hello hello hello!
I am very very sorry it has taken me so long to update my blog. A lot of things have been going on, a lot of preparation for camp which I am leaving for tomorrow night after supper. I still have a lot to get done but I am taking a break and posting so that I’ll have written something before I leave for a month.
___
So other than getting ready for camp I haven’t really done anything in the past couple weeks. I hung out with Alicia a bit, got my hair touched up (see picture below), cleaned the house, went to the cottage to help the boys put the dock in the water, watched some movies, hung out with my best guy friend Kev, hung out with my Fraser, finished the forth twilight book! And much much more.
___
One thing I wanted to talk to about was the forth twilight book. If I would have done this post when I was only about halfway through the book I would have told you that I was extremely disappointed with it. However, looking back, I really did enjoy it. I didn’t like it because it was so weird, so.. different than the other books. Now, after reading it, I can honestly say I fully enjoyed it, 100%. I am glad I finally got around to reading it.
___
Something new in my life is that I have developed a very great fear of the dark, and nighttime. The other night I had to stay up until 5am just because that’s when it was light outside again, and I could finally sleep. I don’t even know where the irrational fear came from, all of a sudden I just don’t like laying in the dark waiting to fall asleep, so recently I’ve been making myself SUPER tired during the day so I don’t even have to think about sleeping.
___
Alrighty, so here are some pictures of my hair, touched up, and my makeup today, and a few makeup looks I had in the past couple weeks, and some other pictures for your enjoyment.
Here are some recent pictures of Thor and Zion:

Fraser and my friends, Jazz and his girlfriend Nadine recently got a bunny too! Which they named Flash, here is a picture of the little guy:

Here are some products I bought recently (mostly for camp):

Aussie Curling Mousse and Leave-in Conditioner. This is awesome, I think it’s the best mousse I have ever owned.

This is the Revlon Colorstay Foundation, it-is-AMAZING, I love it, it isn’t runny, it has great coverage, all around GREAT!

Tresemme shampoo (I also bought the conditioner), it’s for color-treated hair. It’s good, pretty basic for shampoo, it does what it should.

Marc Anthony’s Curl Defining Lotion this is.. okay. I mean I like it, but I used it yesterday and I got asked “why does your hair look so pouffy today?” so I guess it’s not my favorite. I like the fact that it’s not mousse, but it smells funny, lol.

I bought this sunscreen for camp, it’s 30 SPF, UVA/UVB protectant, it’s waterproof, oil free and won’t clog pores. Awesome.

Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer is awesome!
Alright so here are Makeup looks from the past couple weeks:

A gold/brown neutal type makeup

This one was supposed to be like fire ![]()

This look was just supposed to match my shirt (see the first picture).

This look was inspired by the necklace I wore today:

Now here are some pictures of hair, starting with an awesome hairstyle I did a couple days ago:

Crossed braids ![]()
Now a picture of my hair touched up:

New hair with NEW GLASSES ![]()

Everyone thinks they are too big.
Now the last picture I have for you, a picture I took when Fraser and I were at Lawrencetown Beach.

I will probably include all the pictures I took at the beach and more during the past couple weeks in a album on facebook when I make an album for my summer.
Anyway thank you very much for listening to me ramble, once again, as I said I am leaving for New Glasgow tomorrow night after supper, so I won’t be posting for a while, and I won’t be on facebook for a while. I might come back on a couple weekends and post then. Wish me luck!
Love you lots,
Sara xo

Online window shopping wish list
June 22, 2009
Alright, so finally I have decided just to post this wish list. Sorry it has taken so long and that I haven’t done a post in a while. I am working on another post that I will put up either today or tomorrow, before I leave for camp on Tuesday. Anyway, here it is, enjoy:
They only sell this one on the US Forever21 site (not the Canada one!
). It’s $10.80 USD. Zebra’s have always been my favorite animals and I just love Zebra/Zebra print SO much.
This is from Zappos, I found this site through Celebrity Apprentice Season 2, Episode 2, and if you love shoes and clothes and everything thing else you should DEFINITELY check it out. These shoes are $440 USD. I would wear them with THIS:
Just a fairly plain black dress with a lace belt from Beverly Lane it’s $20.99 USD.

I really like the look of this dress, it’s from Beverly Lane as well, it is $22.99 USD.

I really really need a new purse. I like this one, it’s from Aldo, and it’s on sale on their website for $34.99, I’m not sure if I like the material, I usually go for leather-like purses.
Here are some more things I found on Zappos.com that I would absolutely LOVE to have:

This blue dress is on sale for $239.15 USD. I love the detail on the boobs, I think it would look incredible.

I think these shoes are a great “Gladiator” type shoes, very elegant., they cost $450 USD.

These shoes are on sale for $76.45 USD, I love animal print shoes, and I love how these ones have purple on them ![]()

These shoes are on sale for $299.52.

These shoes are only $93.60 on sale, and the best part of them is probably the bottom:

Here are some items from Dynamite that I want to buy (well the ones I like the most, I would love to buy everything at Dynamite)

This Ruffel Cami is only $25 CAD, it also comes in blue, but I love purple.

This is called a Bow Tie Romantic Top, lol, it is $28 CAD, I really like it for more of a dressier top.

This is called a Embroidered Wrap Around Blouse, it costs $32 CAD

This Stripe Cami costs $22 CAD, I don’t normally like brown and blue together, but there was something about this top that I loved.

This is a “V-Neck Open Back Top”, it comes in a couple other colors, but I love yellow and I definitely don’t own enough yellow tops.
Here are some things from the Canadian Forever21 site that I want to buy:

This is called an Evonne Halter Woven Dress, it costs $27.80 CAD

This is called a Floral Bloom Corset Top, it costs $21.80 CAD, I LOVE corset tops.

This is a Gradated Animal Print Dress, it costs $27.80 CAD, I don’t know if I would wear this very often, but I just love how unique it is.

This is called a Grommet Back Satin Dress, it costs $27.80 CAD, I absolutely LOVE this, it is a PERFECT little black dress.

This is a BEAUTIFUL Pleated Floral Corset Top, and it’s on sale for $19.04 CAD!!
Here is something that I think I will get when I go to Ontario in the first week of August from Lush:
A toner from Lush, Breath of Fresh Air. I heard about it in one of Dulcecandy87′s youtube videos and she LOVES it.
Now here is a beautiful dress from Smart Set that I tried on yesterday and I absolutely loved but my mom wouldn’t buy it for me. She said I wouldn’t have anywhere to wear it ![]()
It cost $40, it was on sale from $55.
This was really fun. I hope to do it again, only shorter, and have it not take so long. Maybe once a month I’ll do a post on all the stuff that caught my eye that month.
Love you lots,
Sara xo
I won’t say anything at all so why don’t you slide?
June 7, 2009
ALRIGHT, let’s get straight to business. Alicia went to Cirque du Soleil on Friday, she came over to my place first so I could do her makeup, I also ended up doing her hair, lending her my mommas shoes, etc. Here is my favorite picture I took of her, it was while I was doing her hair, it’s all teased and ready to go:

You can see the small album of the other pictures taken here on my facebook.
Isn’t she beautiful, and isn’t that amazing makeup? My only regret is that I didn’t take a side picture of her hair, it was really beautiful.
She had a great time, you definitely know that if you read her blog (if you want to read it click here.
___
On Saturday, Fraser and I got up early and went to visit Nadine and Jazz, later in the day we took them out to the mall and Bayers Lake to help them run some errands and stuff. We went to Wal-Mart to help them decide on a rug and a microwave and so Jazz could get Ninja Turtle movies. They didn’t end up getting a rug just yet – decision difficulties, lol.
After Wal-Mart we went to Pets Unlimited so Nadine could get a fish for her fish tank. So they ended up getting a bunny instead! He is SUPER CUTE. I am visiting her on Tuesday and we are going to the grocery store to get some greens so I will take some pictures then. He looks exactly like Zion did when he was little, only the new bunny is black. By the time we left on Saturday he did not have a name, so I will update you on that later too.
Now in case you are disappointed that you do not get to see any cute bunny pictures now, do not get discouraged. This has reminded me that I haven’t told you about Fraser’s bunnies, Thor and Zion! How silly of me. Thor is a Dutch rabbit, he is super timid, definitely a very cautious bunny. If you put Thor in the living room he will pretty much run back to Fraser room to his cage. Zion is a Dwarf-Lion head cross, who is definitely the opposite of Thor. He loves exploring. Here are pictures of them both:
Zion as a baby
Zion older
He looks different now! These pictures are at least 5 months old.
Thor
Thor and I about 4 months ago (when my hair was SUPER long and brown)
So those are my bunnies!!! Frasers bunnies. I love them to death.
___
This morning the whole fam + Fraser got up early and we all went to get our Boaters License. You need to go to a ~5 hour course, then there is an exam at the end. It was not as boring as Drivers Training, LOL. I actually had a pretty good time. Oh and you had to get a 75% on the exam to pass the course. Here were the standings in my family:
Daddy – 100%
Fraser – 100%
Me – 97%
John – 97%
Momma – 94%
Eric – 86%
(each question was worth ~4%)
The exam was pretty easy, but I definitely think that I couldn’t have passed without the class first.
___
Oh the last thing on the agenda is that my friend Nadine and I did a little photo shoot type thing for fun about a month ago, maybe more, and we recently got the pictures, click here to visit the facebook album and check them out.
___
Hmm, I was going to rant about something but I am in a surprisingly good mood and do not feel like messing with it lol.
Love you lots,
Sara xo

I used my new eyeshadow palette today, I did Rainbow Eyes! Here is what it looks like:

I also did my hair in a neat updo thing. Here are a couple pictures of what that looks like:

I played Sims 3 today, in Sims 3 you have to choose traits for your Sim, one of the traits I chose for the Sim I made was Insane, so she would talk to herself, and wear her formal clothes to bed and stuff like that. It was very entertaining, I definitely like the new Sims a lot.
___
My friend Bridgette told me that I should start watching One Tree Hill, I was skeptical about it at first, but I am thinking about renting a season and checking it out, only because I like the theme song so much (hence the name of this post, lol)
___
I have been making really awesome Iced Tea’s recently. I didn’t realize how much lemons help! I have just been taking the Nestea powder stuff, mixing it with water, adding ice, then squeezing about a sixth of a lemon into it. It’s absolutely AMAZING.

mmmmm..
___
So I have been trying to brainstorm makeup ideas for Alicia’s makeup on friday, so I think I will try out a couple idea’s tomorrow.
Ummmmm… Sorry this post is so short (other than the pictures, lol), I really didn’t do anything today, very very lazy day.
___
Before I go, here is a beautiful picture I took today:

oh and a picture of Eric! He was hiding under his sperm bubbles.

Love you lots,
Sara xo

June 3, 2009
HELLO EVERYONE
I am extremely happy today because of what FINALLY came in the mail. YES I AM TALKING ABOUT MY 88 COLOR EYESHADOW PALETTE!!!

Sorry about the low quality of picture and my appearance. I used my webcam instead of camera cause it’s late, lol.
It is just as awesome as I could have ever dreamed it would be. But I haven’t used it yet, so I will definitely be experimenting a lot. Maybe even checking out the “How To” videos on YouTube.
Alicia asked me to do her makeup for her on Friday before she goes to a Cocktail party type thing and Cirque du Soleil (I am SUPER jealous). So I am super pumped to do her makeup
Other exciting news for today, SIMS 3 CAME OUT! So my brothers and I split the cost, and we got the collectors edition that came with a USB thinger. Here’s the game:

I am also super pumped to try it out, my brothers and I were playing a bit today, it seems pretty awesome.
Since I am on a roll with all these pictures, here is a picture of the shirt I wore today:

Ahaha I love it so much.
P.S. I may put up better pictures of everything in a future blog, when it’s not so late.
___
Today I cleaned Leah’s fish bowl! (I am taking care of Eric for her while she is home in Calgary) I will definitely upload a picture of him in one of my future posts. He is adorable.
Also I went with Alicia to her friends house so she could borrow a dress for the Cocktail party thing. After that we went to Second Cup, then we went to Public Gardens/Downtown for a lovely walk/talk. It was awesome to spend time with her without getting sick of her.
___
The last thing I wanted to talk about today is Lady Gaga. I think Lady Gaga needs to put some more clothes on and realize that she can’t sing for shit. Also she really needs to start makings songs that don’t sound exactly like the ones she’s already recorded, we don’t need another Nickleback, thanks.
Love you lots,
Sara xo

‘Cause you’re sweeter than apple pie
June 2, 2009
So apparently people have actually started to read my blogs, which I find incredible, but now I feel pressured to actually talk about something exciting, instead of just random events of my life. The only problem is that even my imagination isn’t exciting enough.. I could complain about stuff! I am pretty good at that.. Anyway, here is what I’ve done recently:
Last night Fraser and I went to Jazz and Nadine’s for a sleepover, we played N64 and watched my Twilight Bluray, and this morning Nadine made us some amazing eggs and toast for breakfast!
Today I got groceries for my family and Fraser and I took Maggie for a lovely walk around the dingle. It was a very nice day today, a little chilly though.
___
I watched Jon and Kate Plus 8 tonight, I feel really bad for them. I mean I know all the decisions they made about the show was so their kids could have a better life, but the show is the reason that their relationship is falling apart. It just sucks when people are so nosy.
___
I got to talk to Alicia today over msn. Which was awesome because whenever we talk it’s always a chance to complain. I love complaining, especially complaining with someone, it’s a great stress reliever. When you are down about yourself or feeling sad, or stressed about life, it’s great to be able to devert that stress away from yourself and use it to make fun of something else.
Today we complained about prices, and how nothing is the price that the price tag says, you always have to add tax, add other fees, when you are making an online purchase you have to make sure to add at least $15 for shipping. I wouldn’t care if they just included the tax on the price tag, add 15% for the tax, but then at least I know how much I’m paying. It effin sucks.
___
I finished reading Twilight for the second time. I haven’t read the forth book yet, because I don’t want the story to be over. Anyway, so now I’m on to reading the 2nd book for the 2nd time but I think I will at LEAST skip the first half because I hated the second book so much.
___
Anyway I’m getting tired, last night was a long night where I did get much sleep due to Fraser’s SNORING. GAH. I am going to sleep great tonight.
Love you lots,
Sara xo

May 30, 2009
I am very proud of my exercise today! Although it was shorter than usual, I did some jogging, which I normaly don’t do, I normally just walk, and it was raining out! I jogged around the Frog Pond with Maggie. I also ate healthy today, except for the chips I had while I watched movies.
Speaking of movies, we watched two more Star Trek movies today, the 3rd and 4th ones. The forth movie is definitely my favorite so far, it was the funniest by far, and the most well done of them all so far. I can’t remember what it’s called but it’s the one where they have to save the whales.
Hmm, what else did I do today.. ou I did my makeup really well, I really liked it today:

And I got to see my baby today! Oh and I played Sims2 to get e back in the mood when Sims3 comes out in a couple days. Here is my family, Stanley is the last name, lol. So the woman is Sara Stanley, the cat is Captain Majestic and the doggie is Fetch:

Anyway it’s like one thirty in the morning, I am going to sleep! I just wanted to keep up my habit of posting every day.
Love you lots,
Sara xo
